Problem:
When the START-Button (loggging) in IBB-Logger Base is pushed, a Error MsgBox appears (e.g. 'device not available for routing'). When reinstalling (after complete physical removal of the device in PC/MAX with reboot), the device may work until the next reboot of the machine. Maybe this is a problem in MAX. Solution: 0. Make sure you have admin-rights 1. Save/export MAX configuration details 2. Exit all NI-Programs and close MAX 3. In Taskmgr, kill the process nimxs.exe 4. Rename the MAX Data folder : XP/W2k: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\MAX\Data Vista: C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\MAX\Data 5. Restart the PC 6. Start MAX 7. Check if device/everything works fine (attempt a self-test) 8. Import MAX configuration details (or type in again by hand) |
